Virtually any profile is possible from very small to extra large. This process is also available with other elastomers. Ability to add a hollow core(round-square-triangular) to any profile for additional compressability.
Extruded lengths can be over 500 inches in length with only one joint. Joint strength exceeds military requirements.
Mil spec, automotive, nsf, usda, fda, materials are available as well as custom compounding for demanding applicatioins.
Durometers of foam/sponge can range from soft to hard. Dense outer jackets also offer durometer changes.
This extrusion can be engineered to meet conditions where seals experience maximum or minimal compression set. Material selections are typically engineered for each application. We suggest prototyping and field testing prior to entering a manufacturing order.
Used in automotive underhood, interior, body applications, aircraft&aerospace, hvac, canisters and containers, appliances, medical devices, door and window seals, transportation seals, electronics, computers, dust and dirt shields.
Temperatures typically range from minus 40 to plus 400f. Special elastomers exceed these limitations.
Joint bonding is accomplished with either hot or cold bonding materials, all joints exceed military pull tests.
Some extrusions lend themselves to zoned adhesives with release liner.
Color options are available for most materials.
